Quiet, Now

Introducing Quiet, Now - exquisitely played chamber-jazz: David Patrick (acoustic piano), Mario Caribe (acoustic bass).

So much jazz has taken on elements of the Olympics - higher louder, faster - it seemed that a counter-balance was required. Hence this group: no up-tempo burners, and an emphasis on space, atmosphere, and interaction.

I wanted to capture the range of my interests, from the elegance of classic show-tunes and jazz standards to free music and our own compositions. Turn up the volume and listen to the quiet, now.
